Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to feature the company’s latest M14 OLED material; meanwhile, the specifications of the panel have now surfaced online.
Recently, it’s been revealed that Samsung could use its latest M14 OLED for its next-generation Galaxy S26 Ultra. Now, a reliable tipster, IceUniverse, shared a long text post on X, revealing that Samsung will debut its most advanced mobile display with the iQOO 15 soon, and also uncovered a few key specifications.

According to the report, the Korean tech giant’s 2K Everest Display equips almost all cutting-edge OLED technologies out there. It is the world’s first 2K LEAD OLED, which is not integrated with a polarizer, and features three key upgrades, as mentioned below:
- Higher brightness, lower power consumption, and longer lifespan
Reportedly, Samsung uses new display technology that will reduce iQOO 15 power consumption by 44% along with a lifespan increase of 50% compared to the previous iQOO 13 model. The new material and adoption of COE technology help to increase the panel’s brightness.
The iQOO infographics highlight that the new 2K Everest Display will feature 2600 nit full-screen peak brightness, 6000 nit local peak brightness, and 1000 nit manual peak brightness. Apart from this, the panel will also have a few additional notable supports, such as Dolby Vision, which displays HDR content with deeper contrast and more striking highlights.
iQOO 15’s display will feature a 144 Hz refresh rate, thanks to upgraded 8T LTPO technology, which will usher in “fine-grained adaptive refresh from 1–144 Hz.” The display is expected to extend the battery life and reduce the flickering effect. Touch responsiveness has also been reported to be enhanced through the 3200 Hz instant touch sampling rate.
The 2K Samsung Everest Display combines LEAD OLED technology and M14 material to redefine efficiency & lifespan, making it one of the most powerful and well-rounded smartphone displays. Samsung is supposed to use this display for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which means that the device will bring a massive display upgrade. Since the company hasn’t revealed any official details regarding the specifications of this display yet, it remains to be seen whether the leaked details will come true.
