Android 16One UI 8Updates

The US-based Galaxy A36 owners can now download the stable One UI 8 update

Samsung’s stable One UI 8 release has already begun, and the company is expanding the update to more of its Galaxy devices every week. Since the Galaxy A36 users received the update in South Korea and Europe, the update for the device is now available in the US.

Starting off with the Galaxy S25 family, various devices such as the Galaxy A54, A34 and the Tab S10 FE series have just made it to the stable rollout; Samsung is looking forward to expanding the stable One UI 8 version for the Galaxy A36 units in the US.

The stable version for the Galaxy A36 is spotted for the Verizon carrier-locked models in the US, as of now, but it is expected that a wider rollout could happen soon across the country.

At the same time, the Galaxy A36’s latest firmware has been identified with the version number A366USQU3BYI7 and integrates the September 2025 security patch as well.

Meanwhile, the current stable software brings out the new Android 16-based One UI 8 version, which is embraced with new features to the entire UI that make it look cleaner and more sophisticated. Also, the update packs various essential improvements to the entire user experience, performance, security, and privacy to provide a more secure, smooth, seamless experience to the users.

Other than that, the update further packs various new and improved AI features, driven by Galaxy AI, and includes Gemini Live, AI-based generative wallpaper, and an adaptive lock screen clock, alongside bringing upgrades for productivity, security & privacy, and accessibility.
