Samsung announces Real-Time Visual AI with Gemini Live update for Galaxy S25

Samsung Electronics announced a new real-time visual AI feature on Galaxy S25 smartphones with Gemini Live update.

The Korean tech giant has officially revealed that it is rolling out Gemini Live, a new AI experience bringing real-time visual conversations with AI to Galaxy users. Currently, the company has made this new feature available for the Galaxy S25 smartphone users truly free of charge, which allows users to have more natural conversational interactions powered by AI to simplify everyday tasks.

Samsung Galaxy S25 users, get ready to experience a new convenient feature that brings real-time visual conversations with AI, and interested ones can easily activate Gemini Live by pressing and holding the side button to show the AI what they are seeing and engage in a live conversation simultaneously.

Regarding this new functionality, the Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, states, “With this new visual capability, Galaxy S25 series brings next-generation AI experiences to life, setting new standards for how users engage with the world through their devices.”

It’s expected that the company could expand this feature to more eligible Galaxy devices gradually over the coming updates. Gemini Live is a more natural way to chat with Gemini, and it goes live to brainstorm and organize your thoughts, or share a pic, video, or file, and get real-time, spoken responses available to mobile users in 45+ languages and over 150 countries.
