Galaxy S25 receives April 2025 update adds One UI 7 Live Music notification, camera improvements and more

Samsung is constantly working hard to bring new updates for its devices; however, due to some obstacles, the company is stuck with One UI 7 expansion. However, on the other hand the Korean giant is expanding the April 2025 security patch to its eligible devices, now with the latest development the Galaxy S25 series devices.

Galaxy S25 series gets April 2025 security patch in South Korea

Samsung has rolled out the April 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea, it carriers firmware version number S93xNKSU2AYD9. With the latest update, the company not only bring the security-related changes but it has also introduced some improvements for the Camera and charging functionalities. So if you have found any bugs related to these, the update will fix those issues.

Along with this, some reports also claimed that it brings Music widget integration with live activities on the Home screen. Earlier this feature not present for the Galaxy S25, while older Galaxy devices including Galaxy S23 and S24, have grabbed it with One UI 7 beta.

Galaxy S25 Live Notification Support for Music Player

The April 2025 update for the Galaxy S25 series is coming with a significant software package of 783MB. So if you are about to download the update, then it is recommended to use the Wi Fi for smooth installation. 

If you are residing in South Korea, the update notification of update should started flashing on your home screen, Alternatively, you can also check it manually by the software update menu from the system settings.
