Following the S22, Samsung pulled the One UI 8 rollout for Galaxy S24 series!

Samsung is indeed moving incredibly fast with the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 rollout for its Galaxy devices; however, it looks like the company is discovering certain bugs. While the company pulled the update for the Galaxy S22 series right after a week of its release, the same has happened with the Galaxy S24 series.

Basically, Samsung has already released the Android 16-based update for the Galaxy S24 family, and now, it has just taken back the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra from its servers, and therefore, it is no longer available for the users who have already installed it.

Noticeably, it appears that this temporary pause for One UI 8 rollout is currently only limited to South Korea, and it remains to be seen whether the same behavior will be continued for the Galaxy S24 series owners in other countries as well.

At the same time, it’s interesting! A couple of days ago, Samsung withdrew the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S22 series, but a day later, the company resumed the rollout for the devices. However, South Korea is the only region where the update rollout has not resumed, and the Galaxy S24 series’ One UI 8 rollout has been pulled off in Samsung’s own country.

Well, users have not yet reported any major issues or problems regarding the update so far, but it is highly expected that Samsung will soon acknowledge the exact cause of the problem and will resume the One UI 8 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series owners as soon as possible.
