Samsung to reopen the Galaxy Z TriFold sales on December 17

Samsung released the Galaxy Z TriFold for sale in Korea on December 12, and within no time the device sold out. The company is now gearing up to reopen pre-orders for the device this week.

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Z TriFold device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and running Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. It is equipped with advanced specifications, features, a smarter camera, and various AI tools.

Last week, as announced, Samsung released the device for sale in Korea today, December 12. One of the most surprising things is that, in no time, Samsung’s official sales website started showing a “Sold out” message and a thank-you note for buyers.

Now, a new report revealed that Samsung will reopen the pre-order for the Galaxy Z TriFold on its official website at 10:00 AM on December 17, 2025. Noticeably, this time, the company will also distribute a limited number of units through traditional retail stores.

Reportedly, Samsung will release only 3,000 Galaxy Z TriFold units in the Korean market, causing both end-users and speculators to rush to purchase them. Recently, it was reported that the outer display replacement of the device costs between KRW 1,37,000 and KRW 226,000, which is nearly $92 and $153, while the inner display replacement costs between  KRW 1,657,500 and KRW 1,834,500, which is between $1,122 and $1,242.
