Samsung Galaxy S23 Series To Use Snapdragon SoC
From omitting expectedly coming UDC, the infamous camera used in the Galaxy Z series, & equipping Isocell HP3 to the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup, many rumours were floating in the past.
Today on the 9th, another revelation comes from a reliable tipster Ming-Chi Kuo after the hint from another one, Roland Quandt, about the Exynos, former Hummingbird (it would have been cool if that was the name still), being replaced by a Qualcomm SD Gen 2 SoC.
Important info has been bruited about Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy S23 series, and the SoC ( System on a Chip) the smartphones are anticipated for the sport.
Clashing reports have surfaced about the flagship phones’ chances of using Samsung’s in-house Exynos chipset, and the rearmost of the lot seems to allude to those chances being relatively slim.
According to bigwig Ming-Chi Kuo, the Galaxy S23 series will probably be powered simply by a Qualcomm chipset. The Galaxy S23 series will fully hesitate from using an Exynos chipset but Qualcomm’s SM8550 flagship chipset. That chipset is considered the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and will probably debut in mid-November.

This transformation comes due to Samsung’s struggles with the Exynos 2300. The Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 were erected on Samsung’s 4nm node.
TSMC’s 4nm chip has performed significantly better; still, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be erected on that same concept, and Samsung understands that its process is unfit to contend.
The South Korean company recently blazoned a 3-nm GAAFET, reportedly sold to small-scale crypto companies. The manufacturing process of Samsung’s 3-nm would probably contend well with TSMC’s 4nm knot, but yield rates are reportedly still too low to accommodate the product demands of the Galaxy S23 series.
The chip only just entered production as well and will reportedly not be ready until 2025 for the end-user market. Ergo, there is little to no chance the Galaxy S23 uses a chipset pitched on that process.
Word on the conduit indicates that Samsung won’t be releasing the Exynos 2300 at all. Still, dependable leaker Roland Quandt claims that the flagship chipset, codenamed” Quadra”, was still developing at the end of May.
However, there is a chance Samsung does launch the Exynos 2300, but not on the Galaxy S23 series If all of these reports are to be considered.
