Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Gets Update With Snoring Detection & Watch Faces

Samsung has just released a new software update for its Galaxy Watch 3, currently the flagship smartwatches Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 is running on WearOS based One UI Watch 4.5 version.

The update for Galaxy Watch 3 includes several improvements to physiological parameter detection capabilities. Let’s go see the changelog together:

  • Dial
    • Have fun with new and improved watch faces with enriched style and customizable options.
    • Two new clock faces have been added. (Pro analog, number with gradient)
  • Samsung Health
    • Updated daily activity indicator syncs mobile fitness data for better convenience.
    • Provides a recording function once snoring -is detected when you use your cellphone while sleeping.

This update, with firmware version R840XXU1DVH4 for Galaxy Watch 3 and have been spotted in these hours in the Germany, but will be coming soon on United States smartwatches as well. 

The update, which as you can see from the screenshot in the gallery below weighs about 51MB, is currently being deployed via OTA via the Galaxy Wearable app for smartphones and tablets. The rollout should already be extended globally.
