The October 2022 security patch for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite has been rolled out by Samsung. This Monday, users in Europe made the feature known. Those who already got access to the update report that it carries the version number N770FXXS8GVI2 and fixes roughly 50 operating system bugs.

There are no new features in this bundle, and the changelog still notes the presence of adjustments to the South Korean manufacturer’s exclusive user interface.

The update is currently being released in batches and slowly. As a result, it’s possible that it will take some time for the update to reach European smartphones. The procedure is easy to follow if you want to check availability: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Android 12 and One UI 4.1 are now installed on the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. This year, the smartphone is anticipated to receive one final significant operating system update to Android 13 with One UI 5.0. But until 2024, Samsung is still anticipated to offer security upgrades for the device.

If you own a Galaxy Note 10 Lite, it’s possible that when the October package becomes available in Europe, your smartphone will automatically receive it. However, you can manually check to see if the update is downloadable by going to “Settings,” selecting “Software Update,” and tapping “Install.”
