Samsung Galaxy S23 to get a major display upgrade, it will overtake the iPhone 14

It’s been a couple of weeks since the Galaxy Unpacked Event’s official date announcement, and the layers of its biggest reveal of Galaxy S23’s major offerings and modifications are peeling off day by day through numerous rumours and leaks. This time this series’ new Display upgrade has gained everyone’s focus towards it. The upgrade is reported to overtake the iPhone 14 device in that manner, so let’s take a look at it.

As we all know that the series will get a total of three models- Base, Plus, and Ultra, of which the Ultra model features the most upgraded technology in it. In terms of Display, the Galaxy S23 series will get a peak of 1750 nits brightness Display. It is worth noticing that the base model is also said to have the same peak brightness level as the Plus and Ultra models, which means it will also get a 1750 nits Display.

Samsung is providing a much-improved brightness technology in its standard model devices too, which even Apple didn’t do in its standard model. In the case of the most recent iPhone 14 lineup, the base iPhone 14 device has a peak brightness of 1200 nits, which is less than the base Galaxy S23 phone. However, the other models of the iPhone 14 series do get a peak brightness of 2000 nits, which is better than the S23’s.

Besides, the Galaxy S23 Ultra still can get a better brightness Display. A few days ago, Samsung showcased its new 2000 nits peak brightness Display, which was assumed to be implemented in the S23 Ultra device. We have made a dedicated article for it, which you can find here. However, it is yet to be confirmed by Samsung whether the S23 Ultra model will get a 2000 nits Display or the same 1750 nits Display as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
