What is the maintenance mode?

Samsung has introduced a new function called Maintenance mode; it allows users to lock their data in a vault that protects the data, including Photos, Videos, PDFs, and several other files, from formatting or losing. It creates an invisible wall that protects your data when your phone is in the hands of a technician. It allows them to access all the features of the phone, but they don’t retrieve your data.

As of now, the update is rolling out for the Galaxy M53 device in India. Users can identify the update by the firmware version number M536BXXU2BWA2. The update brings a new security patch update. It includes several patches that improve the overall security of the device.
