Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for its carrier-unlocked Galaxy S10 series smartphones in the US. The update includes the Android 2023 January 2023 security patch, which fixes a number of vulnerabilities in the operating system.

The latest January 2023 security update for carrier-unlocked Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e carry firmware version G97*U1UES8IWA1 and is available on many US unlocked networks, including T-Mobile, Comcast, MetroPCS, AT&T, Sprint, Xfinity Mobile, and Verizon.

Samsung also patched some issues with NFC, Secure Folder, and Samsung Knox. Samsung advises all users of these devices to install the latest security patch as soon as possible, information leakage and elevation of privilege vulnerabilities. Other fixes include a number of improvements to the overall stability and performance of the device.
