As per the expectation, it will reach the further Galaxy device by March or April.

Based on Android 13, this version of Samsung’s interface will bring with it some new goodies, as well as tradition for the Korean giant and in the past hours on the Net what should be the official changelog of One UI 5.1 has emerged.

One UI 5.1’s new enhanced battery widgets are indeed advantageous

For some reports about One UI 5.1’s testing with multiple Galaxy devices have been found constantly, which makes it crystal clear that Samsung is planning this update to roll out in max to max Galaxy devices at its soonest pace. However, one thing is yet to be confirmed by the company, which Galaxy devices and in what order are lined up to get this One UI 5.1 update.

Which Samsung phones are eligible for the One UI 5.1 update?

If you are still determining which devices are eligible to get the One UI 5.1 update, we are providing the information here for you. Notably, because the One UI 5.1 is based on Android 13 and requires this OS installed in the respective device, all the Android 13 booted Galaxy devices are eligible for it. Besides, for those devices that are eligible for the Android 13 update but still need to get it, Samsung will provide them with the Android 13 update directly with One UI 5.

In that manner, previously, we made a list of all possible Galaxy devices that could get the One UI 5.1 update. In the respective list, we have mentioned Samsung’s eligible smartphones, rugged phones, and tablets. Which Galaxy devices will first get the One UI 5.1 update?

There is a wide lineup of Galaxy devices that are lined up to get the respective One UI 5.1 update; it is hard to expect which one will be the earlier to get. Obviously, the update program of the One UI 5.1 will be the same as the Android 13+One UI 5.0 update because we are expecting Samsung to follow the same pattern this time. It means that the devices that got the previous OS update earlier will get this too earlier, and that was later will be later this time as well.

Still, one thing is clear the devices that are being spotted with One UI 5.1’s testing will be the frontiers of getting it. In that manner, after the Galaxy S23 series, with which the update is officially introduced, the Galaxy S22 series will be the first one to touch it because it was the soonest to touch its initial testing. Afterward, we expect these below-mentioned devices by looking at the order of their tests. After the Galaxy S22, these Galaxy devices will get the One UI 5.1 in the same order given here-

Apart from these devices that are spotted for testing, Samsung will reach every eligible premium device, including the Galaxy S series, Galaxy Foldable, Galaxy Tab S series, and Galaxy Note Series. After these, Samsung will move on to eligible mid-range devices such as the Galaxy A series, Galaxy M series, Galaxy Tab A series, and rugged phones. After completing them, the update will be distributed to all the remaining eligible devices, including the budget lineup.

Nota bene, this information is not taken from the official website but prepared by focusing on Samsung’s Update Policy, previous update programs, and our experience, so please believe it only if you intend to.

Currently, the Galaxy S20FE devices are receiving the update in the form August 2023 security patch.

The latest security patch doesn’t bring any innovation to the device, but it brings some minor increment for the improvements of the security of the devices. At the moment, Samsung still needs to publish a detailed bulletin of the update, so we can’t say exactly how many fixes were made in this update.

The August security patch is now rolling out in some countries, including Panama, Bolivia, Brazil, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Trinidad & Tobago. All the Galaxy S20FE users who belong to the mentioned countries will get the update through OTA.

The new update for Galaxy S20FE is now live in the countries mentioned above, but due to the limitation of the server, it will be distributed to users batch-wise, which means some users will get it on the same day of release while others will get it in the next few days.

Users who own S20FE should get the notification on their devices shortly; once the notification arrives, you can easily update your device by tapping it and installing it through the software update menu. Alternatively, users can check the update availability manually by going to the software update option by the device’s main Settings.
