Samsung is committed to providing software updates for each Galaxy device it provides updates by following Google. Earlier, the company gave three Android updates to its several devices. Later, the company officially confirmed last year that it would provide four Android updates and five-year security support. However, the company has tagged limited devices.

Moreover, the company has chosen its Flagship and some premium rage devices under the list of four years of Android updates, so this is why the company mentions the updates at the time of launching of the device separately. Furthermore, Samsung is most likely to focus the updates according to the price range and hardware specs.

According to the information, the device is eligible for 3.5 years of security updates, but the Korean giant hasn’t revealed the Android updates. But going to the specs and price range, the device has more possibility to receive at least three years of updates.

The Galaxy A23 5G device is equipped with a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display, and it features a quad camera setup that includes a 50 MP primary camera, 5 MP, ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth. It has an 8MP camera, and the device is powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 695 with a 5000 mAh battery. It is available in two variants, 8GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB, and it is available in the midrange price segment. The device has recently launched in India with Android 13, while the same device has already been available in the US, which came with Android 12 pre-installed. It is safe to say that the Indian version will get an extra Android update in the future compared to the existing one.
