Samsung has taken another step towards strengthening the security of its devices by releasing the Android March 2023 security patch for the carrier-unlocked variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in the United States. Earlier, this update released for the carrier-locked T-Mobile variant. This update brings various security enhancements, fixes, and improvements to the device, ensuring that users remain protected against the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G has started receiving the March 2023 security patch for carrier-unlocked variant in the US. The latest update carries the firmware version F707U1UES3HWC1.

The update resolved 40 CVE items as part of Google’s Android security bulletin and 23 SVEs for Galaxy One UI devices. These issues are related to Bluetooth, function driver, Galaxy Themes, Samsung Keyboard, System UI, and other One UI services.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G users can easily install the latest update by tapping on the notification which is flashing on the top of the notification panel which is saying, “new update is available”, but if you don’t have received the notification yet, so for verification can also check it manually by going to the system settings then click on software update option, now wait until the search finished if the update available hit on Download button.
