Galaxy A52 5G One UI 5.1 update expanding on T-Mobile, Sprint, and MetroPCS network in the US

Last week, the carrier-locked variant of Galaxy A52 5G got the One UI 5.1 update in the US. The update was available only on two carriers, including Spectrum Mobile and Xfinity Mobile. At the same time, the same update was previously available for Galaxy A52 5G outside the US. Now the company is expanding the update to more carriers, including T-Mobile, Metro PCS and Sprint. It is expected that the update will soon be available on the remaining networks.

Users who own Galaxy A52 5G’s carrier-locked variant, which is affiliated with the networks mentioned above, can easily identify the latest update by its firmware version number A526USQU7EWB4. The update also includes a one-month older security patch in the form of February 2023, and it includes several fixes that improve the overall security of the device.

One UI 5.1 brings several new features and improvements to the device 

The One UI 5.1 is the upgrade of Samsung’s software skin; it brings several new features which will improve several aspects of the device, including the Camera, Gallery, Multitasking, Modes and Routines, weather, Samsund internet etc. There are some additional features that have also been introduced under the latest skin, like a new battery widget

Galaxy A52 5G

The Galaxy A52 5G was launched back in 2021 and came with Android 11 on board. Later, the device received two more Android updates sequentially, and currently, it is running on Android 13 and which is why it is eligible for One UI 5.1. Being a two-year-old phone, it is now eligible for one more Android update in the future. The device will also get new minor updates in the form of security patches for a minimum next two years.
