Galaxy A23 and Tab Active 3 join June 2023 security update list

After releasing the June 2023 security package for its top-of-the-line devices, Samsung began distribution to intermediaries. After the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy A52s are contemplated, the Galaxy A23 and Galaxy Tab Active 3 turn to receive the update.

The update to the Galaxy A23 includes the June 2023 Android security package and has A235FXXU3CWE4 firmware. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 became the first Samsung tablet to be updated with the June security package. The novelty was confirmed by several users from Latin America on the Korean brand forums.

The update for Galaxy Tab Active 3 is available in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, and other countries in the region. The released changelog cites the presence of the firmware version T575XXS5EWE3.

According to Samsung’s security bulletin, the patch includes fixes for more than 61 vulnerabilities found on mobile phones and tablets. Of this total, three vulnerabilities are classified as critical, and fifty are considered important. The update also fixes eleven security flaws found in Samsung devices.
