Android Auto 10.1 is ready to download: What’s New

Published

on

Recently, Google released a new version of their Android Auto software called Android Auto 10. Even after this release, they didn’t stop working on it. They also launched a test version called Android Auto 10.1 beta, which users can try out.

The new version doesn’t come with a list of specific changes, so it’s hard to know exactly what’s improved. However, it’s likely that Google focused on making the user experience even smoother. The previous Android Auto 10 didn’t have many significant updates, except for a new animation for the Google Assistant.

In addition, Google seems to be close to fully launching “Coolwalk,” a new interface for Android Auto. Many users have already received it since its announcement in January. One of the exciting changes in Coolwalk is the ability to run multiple apps simultaneously.

Android Auto Reintroduces Simultaneous Google Maps Usage on Phone and Car

Unfortunately, some users have noticed an issue with Android Auto during these hot days. When their phones are connected to Android Auto, they get very hot, and the high outside temperatures don’t help to cool them down. This situation is causing stress to the phone’s battery, as it gets charged and discharged at the same time.

The update to Android Auto version 10.1 is being released on the Play Store via the badge below. If it is not yet available on your smartphone and would like to try the new version in preview, you can manually download and install the APK through this APK Mirror link.

Super HDR, or you can also call it Ultra HDR, aims to offer a better immersive experience while shooting and viewing photos and videos. It has become prominent in the Android world since the launch of Android 14 and is now one of a number of increasingly essential features, starting with the flagship.

For so long, leaks and rumors have been teasing Samsung’s fan community that Super HDR is on their flagship Galaxy device’s way. This technology is designed to fully exploit the potential of compatible HDR displays, improving the visual quality of images, notably not only in the default applications but also on many social platforms like Instagram

The Super HDR permits you to capture images with exceptional detail in both the brightest and darkest scenarios. This feature will help you capture more lifelike images with vibrant colors that accurately reflect the real scene with more vivid colors that bounce reality.

Currently, Super HDR is integrated into the Google and Samsung Gallery apps. On the other side, the Korean giant is actively aiming to take it a step further by bringing Super HDR support to social media apps such as Instagram. This suggests that users can potentially see upgraded photo quality and will offer the experience of being ready to upload photos to those apps from their Samsung phone.

It appears that the Galaxy S24 series could be the first to benefit from this feature, gradually expanding support to more recent models. The aim behind this is to redefine the standard of image quality in photography applications and social networks. Another feature that the Korean giant is close to announcing is the ability to turn off Super HDR, allowing users to have more freedom in customizing display settings.

Samsung Electronics confirmed that it will offer an enhanced, smarter, and more streamlined Samsung Wallet experience to French residents and even tourists in France.

Samsung Wallet is expanding new features in France to enhance the experience of tourists and people visiting there. By this summer, Galaxy device owners will be able to use their phones to access public transportation in the Île-de-France region through IDFM support with the Navigo Travel Card. They will get access to Samsung Wallet to manage flight tickets with Air France and access tickets for attractions in Paris.

Head of Digital Wallet Team Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics stated: “By integrating all-new travel management features into Samsung Wallet, we are bringing new levels of convenience to French locals as well as to visitors to France, just in time for a busy summer travel season.”

This summer, residents and visitors can easily access the IDF Mobilities app via a pre-loaded shortcut displayed under the Transit menu of Samsung Wallet. Samsung Galaxy users can enjoy user-friendly payment card-based transit across multiple French cities, including Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Lille, and Aix-en-Provence.

Samsung Wallet is also stretching its “Add to Wallet” feature for international travelers in France. However, Tin France can skip ticket lines and booths by using their device to click and pay for rides on buses, metros, and RER lines. This will simply reduce the need for physical tickets and make travel more convenient. Apart from this, the giant is also authorizing the Add to Wallet function for tickets to iconic landmarks, which will all be conveniently accessible from a Samsung Galaxy device.

Samsung Secure Folder Fails After Update: Here’s Why

Published

on

Samsung has recently rolled out a new update for the secure folder, which aims to provide some minor changes in the applications. As it doesn’t bring any specific changelog with it, it may provide some improvement to the functioning of the application, but due to some lack of testing or misalignment, the update makes the secure folder stop functioning.

The secure folder is one of the crucial features of the Galaxy device, which allows users to keep their private stuff in a separate space from the other files. But after the update, several users are facing the issue where the secure folder is unable to open.

However, without wasting time, a Samsung official has confirmed that the issue has been reviewed and also reported the reason behind it.

According to the moderator, the issue is occurring due to the latest changes applied through Google Policies related to account management with Family Link, which offers a feature for parents to control their children’s digital activities, and with the recent software, the use of secure folders has been restricted.

So if you are logged in with a child’s account under the Family link, you will not be able to use secure Folder again, so if you want to use the functionality again, then you need to sign in with your regular Google account instead of the child’s account.
