We’re still some time away from the official release of the latest Android 14 operating system, but owners of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones can try it out. The manufacturer has published the first public beta version of this system along with the latest Android 14-based One UI 6 skin. The update is currently available in the US, Germany, and South Korea and will soon expand to China, India, Poland, and the UK. After the beta testing phase concludes, the Korean giant will proceed to roll out the stable version of Android 14 and One UI 6.0 to the general public.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series will be the first to get the beta

The Galaxy S23 series is the first to receive the One UI 6.0 update. As avid Samsung followers are well aware, the Galaxy S23, the company’s latest flagship, stands as the most probable candidate to embrace the upcoming One UI upgrade unless Samsung deviates from its established approach over the years. A similar pattern emerges for the beta edition of One UI 6.0 (along with Android 14). Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra device owners will be granted the exclusive opportunity to test the new software ahead of others through the One UI 6.0 beta program.

Nevertheless, following their customary practice from previous years, Samsung will expand the beta program to encompass other flagship models, including the anticipated Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Additionally, most eligible Galaxy S, A, and folding devices will also be included in the beta program. While it may be challenging to pinpoint the precise mid-range phones that will receive the One UI 6.0 beta versions, devices like the Galaxy A53 and A54 could be potential contenders for this opportunity.
