Galaxy S22 One UI 6 beta program is getting closer
Samsung’s next skin upgrade will be available as One UI 6, but before introducing the full version to the Galaxy devices, the company is testing it in the beta program. Currently, the company is running a beta program for Galaxy S23 users in select countries. Now the company is preparing to introduce the beta update to the Galaxy S22.
According to the information shared by Tarun, a new firmware number has been spotted on Samsung’s server: S918BXXU3ZWHE. By going to the first four letters of the number, it is confirmed to be the Galaxy S22 model.
Further, he is claiming that the new firmware is one of the One UI 6 beta versions. So it is expected that the One UI 6 beta update will be soon available to Galaxy S22 devices; however, no exact date has been revealed. However, if you own the Galaxy S22, keep the Samsung Members app updated, which lets you quickly access the beta program.
One UI 6 will come with several new features and enhancements. According to the official changelog of the first beta of One UI 6, the update will bring several new changes under many functions, including Multitasking, Home screen, Lock screen, Quick Panel, Samsung Keyboard, content sharing, Weather, Camera, Gallery, and many more.
The Galaxy S22 device was launched last year, and it has previously grabbed the beta update of One UI 5. This device is also one of the top contenders to get the OneUI 6 update. Samsung has promised to give four major updates to the devices, so they will keep getting new major updates until One UI 8.
