Samsung has been working on the Galaxy S23 One UI 6 beta program for a very long time. It introduced the first beta update for the device back in August, then brought a total of nine beta updates, taking significant time. After ending the beta program, it released the stable update for the Galaxy S23 users. It is worth noticing that earlier, it released the update for beta users in some countries and then expanded it publicly.
In the previous article, we reported that Samsung has released the One UI 6 stable update to several countries, including Malaysia. But now the Korean giant has officially announced it on the Malaysian community forum.
In the official announcements, the company’s official said that “Samsung’s One UI updates are a testament to our consistency in delivering the best mobile innovation and experiences, as well as to the level of support we provide for our users,” says KM Liew, Vice President and Head of Mobile Experience (MX), Samsung Malaysia Electronics. “Consumers know that when they purchase Samsung products, they are assured of up to 5 years of security updates, 4 generations of OS updates, and a 2 year warranty, so that they have longer ownership than any other brands in the market.”
As stated in the statement, Samsung is truly keeping its promise to provide a new and better One UI update for its users. According to the official changelog, the latest update will bring several new features that will enhance several existing system-level applications, including camera, gallery, home screen, lock screen, multitasking, keyboard, gallery, and many more. With the latest update, Samsung has also introduced some new features for the graphics, like Quick Panel Design, which is now different and more customizable.
