Samsung Will Leave Circular Path: It Could Choose Again Square Design For Galaxy Watch

Galaxy Gear: An early smartwatch from Samsung. The brand took its first step in the smartwatch market with a square-shaped design, and then, as per the demands or changes, the square-shaped shape turned into a circle. But now again, Samsung is jumping on its ancient square design.

Back in 2013, Samsung introduced its first ‘Galaxy Gear’ smartwatch with a square-shaped design featuring a 1.6-inch Super AMOLED display. Now it appears that Samsung is planning to bring back the squarish design for its next generation Galaxy Watch, as reported

Samsung never misses the chance to surprise its fan community with new changes, whether it is about hardware, software, or even design. For a decade, Samsung’s Galaxy smartwatches have been rotating around the circular design, and finally, it was unveiled that Samsung is all set to leave its circular patch and go with a squarish one.

When Samsung took its first step in the smart wearable market with the initial Galaxy Gear, Gear 2, and Gear Live, it was a slave of square shape, but as older designs are coming into the trend again now, why not Samsung’s square-shaped smartwatches?

Initially, Samsung introduced its circular-design smartwatch as the Gear S2, along with a rotating bezel. And till now (Galaxy Watch 5), Samsung has gotten stuck in the circular patch.

However, the square shape change has not been officially revealed by the brand, so it’s not yet confirmed whether the brand will go with the square one with the forthcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series or is going to wait another year.
