Samsung has rolled out the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S22 series in Europe. Users who own the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra devices can identify the latest firmware by these build numbers: S901BXXSAEXEC, S906BXXSAEXEC, and S908BXXSAEXEC, respectively.
Samsung June 2024 update: what’s new?
With the latest update, users will not get any new changes or enhancements for the device, but according to the changelog, the latest update for the device could introduce some new features that enhance the overall performance and stability of the device.
Samsung’s official security SMR, the June 2024 patch enhances the overall performance of the device with security strengthening. In a nutshell, it will provide nearly 60 fixes, where you will get enhancements from Google, including 37 patches for Android OS enhancements, and Samsung has brought 22 extra patches exclusively to elevate the Galaxy device performance.
If you are using the Galaxy S22 series device in Europe, then you should start getting a new update notification, but if you don‘t receive any notification yet, you can check for the update manually by going to the software update menu in the system settings.
