Samsung Galaxy S23 Europe are getting an August 2024 security patch

Samsung is rolling out the August 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S23 device in Europe. It is worth noticing that the company has already introduced the latest security patch in other regions and is gradually expanding to more regions.

Earlier, Samsung has already introduced the Galaxy S23 devices in the US. Now, the European units of Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 ultra with the firmware version number  S911BXXS6CXGA,  S916BXXS6CXGA, and  S918BXXS6CXGA respectively.

The August 2024 update brings a normal security patch update that doesn’t bring any significant changes, but the company is expected to provide some other improvements to make the devices consistent.

According to the official documentation, nearly 50 vulnerabilities were addressed with the new update, in which Google introduced dedicated changes for the Android OS. Along with this, there are some other changes also arrived from the Samsung side, which enhance the working of the devices.

If you are using the Galaxy S23 device in Europe then you should check the latest update by following simple steps: First, go to the system settings, then tap on the software update menu, here if you find new update available then tap on the download and install option.
