Google to End Galaxy and Pixel Exclusivity, Expand Circle to More Android Devices

When Samsung introduced the Circle to Search feature alongside its top-end models, the Galaxy S24 lineup, it garnered a lot of praise from the Galaxy audience. The feature was exclusive to Samsung models, but lately it was acquired by Google for its Pixel units as well, amidst its tremendous popularity.
However, the feature initially touched down to the flagship phones and some mid-tier devices, and it’s now reported that Google might be planning to bring the Circle to Search feature to other Android models, excluding Samsung and Google.
A tweet from the tipster Mishaal Rahman significantly suggests that, beginning next month, Google is allegedly planning to extend the reach of the Circle to Search feature to the other Android phones in order to break the streak of exclusivity of Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones.
After a successful debut in January, the Circle to Search feature could be adopted by the other Android partners, which is currently exclusive to Samsung and Google. Meanwhile, a Tecno representative also hinted that Google might think to expand the feature to more Android phones, along with adding that it should arrive somewhere in October.
In addition, even Google aims to take on over 200 million devices by the end of 2024, which will eventually end the exclusivity streak.
Thus, this source is more than enough to suggest that Google is planning and working on bringing the Circle to Search feature to more Android phones backstage, while if the statement is believed to be true, then millions of Android models, excluding Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones, will be treated with the Circle to Search feature probably with Android 15, out of the box.
