Samsung is setting up to launch its next flagship Galaxy S25 series in January next year, and the Ultra variant of the lineup is expected to price at least $110 more than its predecessor.
Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 series, which broke all the pre-order records of this predecessor. Now as the successor of the Galaxy S24, Samsung is actively working on debuting its next-generation Galaxy S25 series next year.
The Galaxy S25 series will include the usual three variants: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, reportedly, the company is also working on one more variant under the same series called Galaxy S25 Slim.
According to the new report, the ultra variant of the forthcoming lineup, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, will price at least $110 more as compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The reason behind the price boost seems to be an increase in production costs. However, the report hints that the price in China may remain stable due to savage competition in the market.
However, Samsung has yet to announce the official price for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, so at least for now, we can’t trust blindly on these price rates. The entire series is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite and run Android 15-based One UI 7.0 out of the box.
