As we are inching closer for Samsung’s next flagship series, the Galaxy S25’s launch, leaks are now strongly indicating some major upgrades. While the Galaxy S25 models are to be powered with One UI 7, out of the box, Samsung could elevate the gameplay experience by infusing Game Assist mode within its next Android skin, probably alongside the S25.

According to the report presented by the tipster, Jukanlosreve, Samsung is apparently working on a new game mode, named Game Assist, which will significantly let users have a more enjoyable gameplay experience.

With much smoother experience, it’s further speculated that the new Game Assist mode will include the frame interpolation and upscaling that allow gameplay limited to 60Hz at 120Hz. This feature will use Qualcomm’s AFME (Adreno Frame Motion Engine) 2.0 technology that helps to maintain power consumption while gaming.

Hence, smartphones will offer an immersive gaming experience with the highest quality that eventually leads to smooth gaming through performance optimizations that deliver higher performance with less heat generation, much better battery consumption, and by optimizing extra frame rates.

Alternatively, Samsung is working hard in outlining the most effective yet advanced features that are shortlisted for the upcoming One UI 7 version, while dozens of them have already been leaked as speculations, though.

Given the addition of the new game mode, the Game Assist, Samsung is expected to introduce the game mode in the Galaxy S25 series as the models are arriving with the One UI 7 version. Thus, Samsung will be taking a step towards making its One UI experience more elevated and immersive, combining the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and new gaming mode.
