Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Will Be Fully Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, Reports Say
Samsung is aggressively working on its next-generation flagship lineup, the Galaxy S25, to debut in early January 2025 and is expected to be powered entirely by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Samsung was supposed to debut the Galaxy S25 series in early 2025, but a recent report suggests that the company will launch it in the first week of January. The leaks and rumors regarding the series have already been blowing the market for so long.
The series will include three usual variants: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, and all are rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite and will not adopt Exynos. However, it was already reported that the company will go with the Snapdragon 8 Elite to power the entire Galaxy S25 series worldwide.
A well-reliable tipster, Ice Universe, on X, shared again the same news regarding the Galaxy S25 series’ chipset. He states, “I reiterate that all versions of the Galaxy S25 series in the world adopt Snapdragon 8 Elite and will not adopt Exynos.”
The same leaks and reports that Samsung will ditch its in-house Exynos chipset and go with Snapdragon 8 Elite to power its coming flagship series.
However, Samsung has still yet to announce the final chipset to power the entire Galaxy S25 series. Since we are not so far from the release, it will be clear soon with the launch.
