Samsung Galaxy S25 series could debut earlier than the usual timeline
Samsung was already supposed to debut the Galaxy S25 series in early 2025, but it is now anticipated to debut in early January 2025.
Usually, Samsung launches its latest S-series smartphone early each year; earlier this year, it introduced the Galaxy S24 series. Now it is actively working on the next-generation flagship Galaxy S25 series.
A new report suggests that the Galaxy S25 series might be launched in the first week of January 2025; this early launch could result in a competitive edge in the smartphone market. This is being speculated by a Vietnamese retailer’s survey that recently surfaced online, suggesting that pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 lineup could open as early as January 5.
The entire Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, which could offer a 45% boost in peak CPU performance, a 44% gain in power efficiency, and a 40% upgrade in both GPU performance and power efficiency. Apart from the three usual models, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung is also budding one more variant under the same series called the Galaxy S25 Slim; however, it is rumored to debut by the end of 2025.
However, there are no official words from Samsung regarding this early launch report, so it will be interesting whether this report comes true.
