Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip clearly outpaces Apple’s A18 Pro in every every aspect
People have always witnessed tough competition among Android phones and iPhones, with both of them having stuck to the top spot worldwide; meanwhile, the main role is played by their chipsets.
Snapdragon 8 Elite vs Apple A18 Pro
To which Apple came up with its latest A18 Pro chip that’s giving competition to the most renowned Android chip maker, Qualcomm, that launched its most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. While both the chipsets have received a lot of praise, which chipset wins the race and makes it to the game for empowering smartphones?
To begin with the Geekbench score in particular, the Apple’s A18 Pro chip achieves a 3358 single-core score, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite lags behind on single-core score as it gets 3033. On the flip side, the Snapdragon 8 Elite scores more in multi-core testing with 9271, while the Apple A18 Pro receives a slightly lower score of 8184.
Meanwhile, comparing AnTuTu benchmarks, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite performed impressively with the highest score of 2,759,190 points, which suggests its extreme faster-performing ability to empower Android phones while also allowing users to use their devices to their fullest potential.
Whereas, Apple’s A18 Pro received 1,816,016 points in the AnTuTu listings, lagging behind with Qualcomm’s chip with almost 50%, which is a huge gap in terms of performance, CPU and GPU processing, and even in the memory percentage. However, in the Geekbench AI comparison, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite’s performance was poor, as Apple’s A18 Pro performed really well with a total quantized ranking score of 6,191, while Qualcomm’s chip received only 2,416 points.
Lastly, the above-mentioned stats clearly outpace Apple’s A18 Pro from the game; thus, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite’s powerful efficiency, which definitely hits it out of the park when it comes to performance, advanced cooling system, memory architecture, along with CPU and GPU efficiency.
