Samsung’s Botfit and Balance App to introduce a new era of Health Management

Samsung’s wearable robot ‘Botfit’ in Korea is reported to be liked by an employee health management app called “Balance.”
Huray Positive introduced an app ‘Balance’ that can help employees manage their physical activities more healthily and efficiently through direct API linkage with Samsung Electronics’ wearable robot Botfit.
Initially, Samsung showcased a wearable robot, GEMS (Gait Enhancing and Motivation System), at CES 2019, and his exoskeleton-type robot, codenamed EX1, is designed to aid in walking, exercising, and improving gait. However, later the company renamed it Bot Fit.
The Bot Fit can be used for both strength training and injury prevention and also reduce the overload while exercising or applying a load to the muscles. Linking the Balance app and Botfit helps users track their experience data and receive personalized feedback.
Currently, Huray Positive is partnering with Kangwon National University Hospital to offer a comprehensive health management service for cancer patients and survivors, which will merge Galaxy Ring and Botfit to offer advanced health monitoring capabilities, tracking vital signs like heart rate, sleep patterns, and stress levels, and also offering real-time feedback during exercise.
The launch of the Balance app will permit companies to systematically manage the health of employees and further strengthen their health and welfare programs. CEO of Huray Positive, Choi Du-ah, stated, “Through Balance, we can now provide everything necessary for health management on a single platform,” and “Through verification with Kangwon National University Hospital, we are also providing an integrated solution that links Galaxy Ring and Botfit.”
