Galaxy S23 FE getting January 2025 Security Update in the US

Samsung is rolling out the January 2025 security update for the Galaxy S23 FE units in the US, which is currently available for both the carrier-locked and unlocked models.

Well, we have already entered the end of January, while Samsung is still continuing with the January patch for its Galaxy smartphones. Whereas the carrier-locked (Verizon, USCellular, and Spectrum Mobile) Samsung Galaxy S23 FE units come with the S711USQS6CXLG version number, while the carrier-unlocked units have the S711U1UES6CXLG build number.

Meanwhile, Samsung provided the details of the January 2025 security patch that significantly focused on providing a more safe and secure user experience by integrating various fixes for all the security vulnerabilities brought from Google and Samsung that were collectively addressed in the previous version while also protecting the device against potential threats.

Alternatively, the update further adds stability and reliability to the overall system behavior, brings performance optimizations, applies all the latest security patches, and delivers much improved features that in turn help users to have a smoother, better, more stable, and optimized experience.

Moreover, the January patch has already started rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup’s fan edition model in the US, while it’s expected that the rollout will expand to the other regions in the coming days.
