Android Auto’s annoying bug is preventing users from scrolling when playing music

Google has always been consistent in delivering the latest features and updates to its one of the best yet smart platforms, Android Auto; however, indeed the service is more prone to various bugs and issues. Earlier, Android Auto users were facing wireless connectivity issues, but now a different problem has arrived that’s preventing users from scrolling when playing music.
Several users started reporting an issue that seems to occur while scrolling on Android Auto. Initially, users stated that they are no longer able to scroll past a few rows when specially using the music-based applications, including BBC Sounds, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, and more.
Alternatively, in addition to putting limitations on how far a user could scroll, this weirdly sounding bug also automatically forces users to go straight back to the top of the song list.
While the complaints have started growing on Google’s support page, even an Android Auto developer shared a video where it is clearly noticed that when scrolling, the list forcibly takes the user to the first item, and it only happens when the music is playing and not when the music is paused.
Thankfully, the Android Auto team is already aware of this bug and is expected to come up with a proper and helpful solution that could result in a fruitful way for the Android Auto users. On the other hand, as spotted in the Android Auto 13.9 beta version, it seems like Google is working on adding climatic/temperature controls within the service, but let’s see how the company will implement such changes.
