
Samsung’s March 2025 security update is currently happening, while a lot of Galaxy devices, including smartphones and tablets have already received the update in different regions.
The update hit the Galaxy S25 series devices a few days ago in the company’s home country, South Korea; now the patch is expanding for the S25 series owners in Europe (spotted in Spain).

Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra is getting the latest software that integrates the March 2025 security update, with the S931BXXS1AYC2, S936BXXS1AYC2 and S938BXXS1AYC2 build number, respectively.
Specifically, the latest security patch; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather it primarily focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It integrates a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version in order to offer a more safe and secure user experience and protect the device against potential threats.
Accompanied by the security patches, the latest update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually lead to more smooth and efficient functionality.
Moreover, the latest update for the Galaxy S25 series owners is going live in Europe and will be expanded to more eligible regions over the next coming days.
