Samsung has always tried to bring more interaction to its devices, and to do that company frequently introduces new features for them. Now, to get smoother performance, the AOD app is getting updated.

Samsung AOD update brings improvement to the Now Bar sports functionality

Samsung AOD (Always on Display) is getting a new update with the version number 8.8.42.4. With the latest update, it has optimised the working of Now Bar for enhancing the performance of the Now Bar sports features. It means if you are getting any issues while using the Now bar for tracking the scores for your favourite sports then it will work more smoothly.

Apart from this, if you are getting any other issues related to the AOD, then it is recommended to update the application to the latest version. To do that, you just need to go to the Galaxy store, then search for the AOD here. If it shows a new update available, then hit the update button.

For your information, the AOD application on Samsung is responsible for handling the tasks related to the Always on display feature, including clock, wallpaper, now bar and other notifications. The Now Bar functionality will be available to almost all the Galaxy devices with the One UI 7.
