Samsung’s wearables, especially the Galaxy watches are one of their kind in the entire market. Meanwhile, in order to offer a more sophisticated experience, the company delivered the first ever software update of 2025 for the Galaxy Watch 6 series back in January, now, the 6th-generation smartwatch models are getting a new update.
More specifically, Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, which is now available for both the Bluetooth and LTE models where the BYD1 is for Bluetooth models, while BXL1 is for LTE units, and for now, the update is limited to South Korea, while more regions will get the update shortly.
At the same time, the update; however, doesn’t integrate any major features or changes; rather it significantly focuses on improving the overall stability and security of the smartwatches in order to offer a more stable, secure and efficient user experience that eventually enhances system performance, out of the box.
Additionally, this latest Wear OS-based software update is meant to enhance functionality, while also adding certain improvements to all the existing features, including the health upgrades, sleep tracking and more.
Also, Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic owners can manually check for the latest update and can update to the latest version from proceeding from their watches as well.
