One UI 8 internal testing spotted on Galaxy S22 Ultra

Well, One UI 7 is considered as the biggest update ever in Samsung’s history, the upcoming One UI 8 version also looks promising till now. Samsung has begun testing the latest version on a few Galaxy devices and this time, a new build running One UI 8 (Android 16) has just been spotted on the Galaxy S22 Ultra via the Geekbench listings.

Earlier reports mentioned that Samsung is gearing up closer to One UI 8 Public Beta as the internal test appeared on the Galaxy S25 unit. 

Meanwhile, a fresh report via the X user, Tarun Vats, revealed that the Galaxy S22 Ultra model was also seen running the unreleased Android 16-based One UI 8 on the Geekbench platform.

At the same time, the Geekbench listings mentioned that the S22 Ultra carried the build number, S908USQU8GYCB. The phone achieved 1581 points on the Single-core, while it gained 3680 points on Multi-core, which seems impressive and further pin points that Samsung has paced up the development of its next major software, One UI 8, while also initiating the One UI 8 beta program in the near future.

Beyond this, One UI 8 is rumoured to bring even more improvements, including addition of voice in the Now Brief feature that will certainly allow users to listen to their everyday brief all throughout the day. And to add fresh notification animations and improved security settings UI page and more.
Well, Google’s latest The Android Show: I/O Edition already revealed that Android 16 (One UI 8) is set to arrive on Samsung Galaxy devices beginning this summer, and thus, Samsung is supposed to fasten up its progress over One UI 8 build as early as possible
