Android Auto is among the best services of Google, allowing users to have a more convenient and next-level driving experience. Well, it offers a host of interesting features but always lacks a visually appealing UI; now, finally, the app will look more adorable as the light theme is making its way to Android Auto.
Previously, it was reported that Google is planning to bring back the light theme in Android Auto, and the sign was earlier spotted in 2023.
However, the light theme has not yet made it to the platform entirely but has made its spotlight appearance via the I/O event.
According to the reports by 9To5Google, Google showed off the Android Auto’s light theme via the documentation posted last week, which listed certain screenshots of what the Android Auto platform looks like in both the dark and light themes on different display sizes’ screens, including the main UI, mirror apps from smartphones, and the Settings menu.
Well, the new visual update of Android Auto will be arriving soon in the near future; it eventually provides a slight hint on what the car’s dashboard will look like when it actually reaches Android devices. It could sound like a minor change, but it has more impact on improving the user’s overall experience.
Beyond this, Google remains working on offering a more convenient, useful, and interactive experience for Android Auto owners. This includes the latest Gemini integration, Google Maps visual enhancement, the ability to play games when the vehicle is parked, a refreshed media player UI, and climate control, while a lot of interesting things are making their way in future updates.
