One UI 7-based May update is causing boot errors for some Galaxy A56 users

Samsung Galaxy A56 recently received the May security update based on One UI 7. With this update, the company has offered a Gemini access shortcut through the side button. However, this doesn’t seem to be fruitful for everyone, as it is preventing the device from booting.
Galaxy A56 was one of the first mid-range smartphones to launch based on One UI 7 out of the box. After receiving the May 2025 security update, a few Galaxy A56 users started facing a booting issue.
Recently, Samsung released the ‘Gemini update’ for the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 smartphones. Out of these three devices, the Galaxy A56 also includes the May security patch, but it brings one bug that is popping up with surprising frequency.
According to a new report, right after receiving the recent update, several Galaxy A56 users noticed that the update is preventing the device from seamless booting. However, the bug is not only appearing in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Although the users who are struggling with this issue can follow a few steps to deal with this bug: remove the SIM card from the device, and then reboot the device. Once the phone has completely restarted, you can put the SIM card back in.
