Samsung is continuing with the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 update rollout for its Galaxy devices and has at least covered its home territory, that’s the bare minimum. Meanwhile, Samsung is looking towards expanding the One UI 7 stable update for the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 to more regions, other than South Korea.
Well, the Galaxy A53 units have already received the stable update in Samsung’s home town, while the company has already covered the European market for dispatching the update for the Galaxy A54 models. Now, both the Galaxy A53 and A54 units have started getting the One UI 7 stable update in the US.
More specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 has been identified with the build numbers, A536VSQUFFYE2 and A546VSQUBDYE5, respectively. The update is currently available for the Verizon-locked models in the US, it’s expected to reach more models across the country.
One UI 7 not only brought about a host of features and upgrades for the Galaxy ecosystem, but also packs some essential functionalities of Android 15. Most prominently, it introduces the shortcut to access Gemini by pressing and holding the side button, allowing users to get their everyday tasks done easily.
Beyond this, the update also integrates the ability to check all the key notifications on the lock screen without unlocking the device via Now Bar, brings more sophisticated UI, more customizable home screen widgets, more improved Galaxy AI features, boosts productivity tools such as Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, call summaries and more.
On the other hand, the update includes the latest May 2025 security patch that eventually helps keep the device secure against external threats, while also improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.
