Good lock has made a special place in Galaxy devices; now every Samsung device user has adopted it and takes advantage of the functionalists to use their phone to its full potential after analyzing its capabilities. The company has also made sure that it will provide all the good lock features to a maximum number of possible devices. The Camera Assistant is also one of those applications that is available on more devices.

Samsung Camera Assistant App arrives for Galaxy A55 and Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung has recently rolled out the new update with the firmware version number 2.1.00.2; however, it is worth noticing that it is an old version number that arrived earlier for other devices, but as the Galaxy A55 recently debuted with the One UI 6.1, it has received the Camera Assistant with the same update. Along with this, when Samsung updated the Galaxy S21 FE to the One UI 6.1, it got the Camera Assistant with the latest update by default. Earlier, the company had already expanded the availability of the application to these Galaxy devices.

How to Get a Camera Assistant

To get the Camera Assistant on your Galaxy device, you can do it with two methods: you can download the Camera Assistant from the Galaxy Store directly, or you can install the application from the Good Lock application. It is worth noticing that the camera assistant will be available for Galaxy S21 devices after the One UI 6.1 update.

Google Wallet Getting Series Of New Features

Published

At Google I/O 2024, Google introduced a series of new features already active or coming to Google Wallet to enhance the overall functionality of the digital wallet for a seamless net banking experience.

As expected, Google’s I/O 2024 event brings bundles of new announcements regarding new changes, improvements, updates, and more. Google also revealed new features coming to Android soon, especially a new generative AI, updates to their Gemini assistant, and improved protection against device theft.

Apart from AI tools, Google Wallet also gained a particular section at the event, in which it was revealed that Google Wallet will bring a whole series of new features to the table, which include the ability to create digital passes for any type of paper pass or extended notifications.

Google teased the possibility of creating a digital version of any paper pass containing text within it; currently, it only offers the power to create a pass of any card containing a QR code or a barcode simply by scanning it with the smartphone camera using the Add to Wallet button >> Photos.

Soon, this option will be replaced by a new tab called “Everything else,” which will permit you to create a digital version of a card containing written text; for instance, tickets, library cards, car insurance policies, or gym memberships. Later on, push notifications will be upgraded, which will inform the user of changes regarding a certain pass.

The next feature, presently in closed alpha and available in a stable version starting in 2025 as part of the Android Credential Manager APIs, will permit Google Wallet to provide details to other applications; for instance, your age, name, or address if your digital ID is saved within the wallet, subject to the users’ consent within the application.

Google Wallet now has the power to automatically group related passes; for instance, if you have a concert ticket in your wallet, it can automatically link the parking pass for a similar venue to it. You can link the related cards to boarding passes, event tickets, loyalty cards, gift cards, and other documents, for instance, such as library cards, car insurance, and more.

One can easily activate them by simply heading into the Google Wallet settings, clicking on the profile picture at the top right, and enabling the check mark on Automatically add linked cards.

The annual developer conference is still in full swing, and the company continues.

Samsung has recently introduced its in-house application, Samsung Highlights. This application aims to display content on the lock screen; however, currently, the application is running in the beta stage and is getting its first update after being introduced on Galaxy devices.

Samsung Highlights Update

Samsung Highlights is getting a new update with the firmware version number 1.2.7. With the latest update, the company hasn’t attached any changelog; therefore, there is no information available about the new changes.

Hopefully, we may see development for making the application feature more stable as it provides new potential for the working of the devices, so if you want to take advantage of the feature, then you should update it to the latest version.

To update the Samsung Highlights to the latest version, just go to the Galaxy Store and then search for the Samsung Highlights. If any new updates are available, then tap on the update button. It is worth noticing that the application is currently available in limited countries, but it is expected that the company will expand its access to more countries once it gets a stable update.
