Now the brand itself has unveiled that pre-orders in South Korea for its latest smartphone, the Galaxy S24 series, have already set a mark of 1.21 million units, the highest figure in the S series to date.
The brand debuted this latest Galaxy S24 series on January 17th, and within no time, pre-orders will start from January 19th to 25th, whereas official sales will start on January 31.
The Galaxy S24 beats the unbeatable record of 1.09 million units of its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series, which debuted last year in 2023. However, it is following the records of the Galaxy Note 10’s 1.38 million units in August 2019, but the pre-order period ran for 11 days for that model, and as per the prospect of average per day, the Galaxy S24’s is higher.
The Korean tech giants also stated that, out of the 1.21 million pre-orders, which of the particular variants is leading the race?
- 60% were for the Galaxy S24 Ultra model.
- 21% for the Galaxy S24 Plus model
- 19% for the Galaxy S24 model.
Talking about the color choices, as per Samsung, titanium black was the most popular for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and marvel gray for the Galaxy S24 Plus as well.
