According to media resources, Samsung OneUI 4.1.1 is set to release later this year, and the official Samsung representative has confirmed the version for GoodLock. Samsung GoodLock is an app for Samsung devices. It includes various customization options, including theming, UI tweaking, and more. It’s not a new app and was originally launched back in 2016; since then has been updated regularly.

A moderator for the GoodLock on Samsung community Korea has confirmed the OneUI version 4.1.1 in response to a user question.

The Good Lock moderator wrote:

” As a result of checking, the error reported by the customer requires a lot of platform-level code correction and is reflected in OneUI 4.1.1 version. In addition, it seems that it will take some time until the corresponding version is updated on the customer’s terminal.”

It is clear from the above statement that one Ui 4.1.1 is coming. The answer moderator gave to the user is that the current version has to be updated at the user’s end, and Samsung is working on OneUi 4.1.1 release

Samsung is repeating the last year’s pattern similar to OneUI 3.1.1 from OneUI 3.1. This one will probably target the Galaxy Tab series and Galaxy Z series devices as OneUi 3.1.1 did. It is expected to bring some new features to flagship and mid-range smartphones, but nothing significant should be expected, just security level patches and minor updates for the stock apps and UI.

Until then, here are the devices likely to get updated as we have seen from previous cycles(monthly, quarterly, and two-year updates) and patterns from Samsung:

Samsung could also release the OneUI version 4.1.1 without updating the version to mid-range devices, only updating the features that come with 4.1.1. This could be targeting the Z series specifically. The upcoming One UI 4.1.1 software/firmware features will be disclosed in Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4 smartphones

Also, this could be the last update for many devices as Samsung won’t be updating many mid-range to entry-level smartphones to android 13 and OneUI 5.0 due to their software policy and hardware limitation.
