Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 received the June 2022 firmware update for the South Korean model F916N, which can be identified with build no. F916NKSU1FVC5 and sized 1261.32 MB.
It’s a normal security level patch, but some improvements in UI are seen this time. According to the changelog, Galaxy Z Fold 2 has added the following functions:
- Added smart widget function: you can now combine widgets to save space on the home screen.
- Improved security: A new google security patch was applied.
- New Stabilization codes: Improved security from third-party apps.
Not much has improved apart from the device’s security, just a regular update. Samsung seems to take care of their devices regarding security and updates.
Another update German version of Galaxy Z Fold 2 has also received an update, a security level patch for June 2022, the build no. F916BXXU2GVE9 can be linked with the June update for the German/euro model.
The Galaxy Z fold 2 comes with an octa-core Qualcomm SD 865+ (7nm+) processor, a sAmoled 6.23 inches screen, a 25:9 screen ratio, Adreno 650 GPU, and comes out of the box with android 10 and One UI 3.1.1. upgradable to One UI 4.1 and android 12 currently.
