Galaxy A53 5G receives the January 2023 security update

Being a prominent player in the field of mobile software, Samsung is currently distributing the January 2023 security update for Galaxy devices. Starting with Galaxy Note 10 series smartphones after that, the company has updated many devices till now and continues the trend. The Korean giant is serving the update for the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone.

Notably, the January 2023 security update is landing on the Galaxy devices belonging to Brazil, Paraguay, and Bolivia countries. The update is expected to be expanded to other countries in the next few days.

As per the information, the new update carries new security patches under January 2023. Users can identify the update by the build version number A536EXXS4BWA4 and the update size around 457MB; unfortunately, it doesn’t bring any new features.

Moreover, the January 2023 update is a type of monthly security update that Google provides for fixing the known issues that strengthen the security of the device. If we talk about the update in detail, it has several fixes, which Google and Samsung include. In detail, there are 52 patches added by Google which are marked as High priority. Along with these, Samsung has also included 20 other patches which are specially designed for its Galaxy devices.

The Galaxy A53 5G device was launched in 2022, the device has come with Android 12 out of the box, and it is currently the best midrange phone in the market. If we talk about the past updates, it has received the Android 13 in early November, later it has also received the two security updates and as the device is introduced last year so it will be eligible for three more OS upgrades in future.
