Published

Samsung is setting its sights on the future. The company recently released the Galaxy Note 10 series got the January 2023 security patch and became the first smartphone in the Android segment. This news comes as no surprise since Samsung has long been known for pushing the boundaries of technology and staying ahead of the curve. But what does this mean for consumers? What kind of security updates can we expect from Samsung going forward? In this article, we’ll explore these questions and more to give you insight into what the future holds for Samsung’s mobile devices.

Galaxy Note 10 January 2023 security Patch

The Galaxy Note 10 is the first device in the Galaxy smartphone series to receive the January 2023 security patch. The update includes a number of security improvements and bug fixes.

Among the security, improvements are a number of enhancements to the Knox security platform, which is used to secure Samsung devices. The January 2023 security patch from Samsung fixes a number of security vulnerabilities, but Samsung hasn’t yet disclosed them. We anticipate learning more about them later this week.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+’s most recent software update is available as firmware version N970FXXS8HVL3 and N975FXXS8HVL3, respectively. The upgrade is presently going out in Switzerland, and we anticipate that other European nations will soon follow suit.

Galaxy Note 10 will not received the Android 13 update

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus devices will not receive One UI 5.0-based Android 13 operating system updates. As some models of these lines received the update, confusion was created between the owners of the devices.

The point is that Samsung previously stated that some handsets might receive updates for up to three iterations of Google’s operating system, Galaxy Note 10 Lite, which were given Android 13.

Because of this, several users believed that other devices in the series would also receive updates. However, only the Galaxy Note 10 Lite has the Android 10 operating system, while the rest only have version 9.

Samsung, on the other hand, doesn’t explain the release of this update or its purpose, but it’s possible that the company will do so in the coming days.
