T-Mobile’s 5G network now even faster for Galaxy S23 users

T-Mobile US, the American wireless network operator, is working to deliver consumers a faster 5G network. In order to do that, T-Mobile has deployed 5G carrier aggregations on its standalone 5G network, as T-Mobile announced at the Mobile World Congress 2023 event. This faster 5G network can be experienced in the South Korean manufacturer Samsung’s newly-launched flagship- the Galaxy S23 series. 

Let us inform you T-Mobile launched its ‘Standalone Ultra Capacity 5G’ in the US back in November, with a network speed of up to 3Gbps. During the launch, the service was only limited to the Galaxy S23 series, but now they are planning to expand it to other devices as well. Notably, because a Galaxy S23 device was used for the 5G carrier aggregation project, the series will be the first one to use the four-carrier aggregations after 2023.

For this carrier aggregation technology, T-Mobile gets into a partnership with Samsung, Qualcomm, Nokia, Ericsson, and others. Besides it, in the same MWC event, T-Mobile announced VoNR as well, which will be helpful for the company to transfer voice calls into the 5G network. This new VoNR will enhance the quality of calls as it will offer a faster speed and better voice quality. The company is planning to provide the VoNR to more than 100 million users in the future by increasing the no. of cities where it is available.
