Unlike the last month, the Samsung Galaxy S23 takes the lead as the first device to receive the July 2023 security patch. This update has begun within just three days of the month’s start.

Samsung has always been known for its quick and efficient approach, often delivering security patches even before their scheduled release. Continuing this trend, the carrier-unlocked Galaxy S22 models in the United States are now receiving their much-awaited update. However, this update is already available for some carrier-locked units in the US

and some European countries

With an S90*U1UES3CWF3 firmware version number, the July 23 security patch brings almost all carrier-unlocked models of Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra performance and stability improvements and, above all, correction of detected vulnerabilities, more than 90 of which 52 correspond to Google and 38 to Samsung.

If you are a carrier-unlocked Galaxy S22 user and want to check if the July patch is already available on your terminal, go to Settings -> Software Update, and you can find it there as soon as it is released.
