The update in speech is already being distributed for the three models of the Galaxy S22 series (S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra) mentioned in various European markets. However, it seems that it is the branded models that have priority. The firmware version in the rollout is the S90*BXXS6CWF6 and does not seem to be limited to the July 2023 Security Maintenance Release (SMR) only.

Unfortunately, in the absence of the official changelog, it isn’t easy to understand the concrete improvements Samsung introduced; in short, we just have to wait for the first reports to find out more.

The July 2023 update is on distribution in Europe, so it is likely that it is already peeking out on the Italian Samsung Galaxy S22. If you own one of these three models — you can manually check for availability via the usual “Settings > Software Update > Download & Install” path.
