Samsung is currently busy with many new updates; the company is still expanding the August 2023 update in some regions. For large and flexible-screen devices, the company is rolling out the One UI 5.1.1 update to new markets. Meanwhile, the latest One UI 6 skin is also running in the beta phase, and with these updates, the company has also introduced the new September patch update for the devices.

Samsung September 2023 Update

Initially, the company rolled out the September 2023 security patch update for the Galaxy S23 devices in selected countries, including Germany, South Korea, and the US. Then, with further development, the update is expanded to three new countries: India, Poland, and the UK. In all these countries, the latest security patch update comes with the One UI 6 beta update.

Now the company has started rolling out the September 2023 update separately to the non-One UI 6 beta-eligible devices. For example, Samsung has updated the Galaxy S23 devices with the September 2023 update in Canada, which is not eligible to get the One UI 6.0 beta update.

The September 2023 update comes with a lot of bug fixes that ultimately boost the security of Galaxy devices. For your information, the latest patch brings 62 fixes, of which 27 are provided by Google, which resolve the issues found within the Android OS. While 35 fixes are included by Samsung that enhance the security of Galaxy devices.
